TIE GOES TO THE POLAR BEARS
On Tuesday night, the men’s soccer team (10–2–3; 5–2–3 NESCAC) hosted Tufts University (11–1–3; 6–1–3 NESCAC) with the game ending in a 0–0 draw. While the Jumbos had a handful of good looks in the first half, the Polar Bears dominated possession and pace for the remainder of the game. After 45 minutes of play, the team put up eight shots to Tufts’ five, with four corner kick opportunities as well, but none found the back of the net. Goalkeeper Alex Ainsworth ’26 had to make only a couple of saves in the contest. As the third seed in the NESCAC tournament, the team will host Middlebury College (8–4–2; 4–4–2 NESCAC) tomorrow at noon. The Polar Bears won their regular season matchup against Middlebury 1–0.
