What song do you like to hum?

I've been listening to a version of "Que Sera Sera" by Pink Martini and it's one that even I can hum.

Finish the sentence: If music be the food of love...

... then play on. You can't top Shakespeare's words so why try?

Your parents would be most proud of which of your accomplishments?

Doing my best each day, which includes occasional laziness.

What do Michael Jackson and Britney Spears have in common?

Questionable life choices and musical ferocity.

Is American Idol overrated?

I have to give it up to Kelly Clarkson because she's the original, but, yeah, since her it's all been downhill.

Who is your favorite Disney channel-turned-pop star?

Hilary Duff started it all. "Metamorphosis" is a great album if you're not familiar.

Do you play a musical instrument?

Formerly the tenor saxophone but I renounced that because I'm totally tone deaf.

What piece of music advice would you give Chris Daughtry?

No idol but Kelly Clarkson has my heart.

Why did you become a DJ?

I wanted to do programming that wasn't all music and I don't think anyone on this campus is too cool for Harry Potter.

If animals could sing, which would have the best voice?

The porcupine. It would have great lyrical ballads.

First concert you ever went to?

Britney Spears' "Oops I Did It Again Tour," red jumpsuit and all. It was a family affair; literally, 14 of my cousins and aunts and even one uncle were there.

If you wrote a song entitled "Bowdoin College," give a lyric from it.

Nothing tops "Bowdoin from birth our nurturer and friend." I would use the lyrics and just sample some great classic rap hits for a remix.

If you could meet any live musician or artist, who would you meet?

This one time in eighth grade, I was Yo-Yo Ma for a biography project so it would be cool to meet him.

Which famous artist is your dream date?

Lady Gaga would provide endless opportunities for craziness and media overexposure.

What is your favorite song lyric, and from what song?

"Dead shopping malls rise like mountains beyond mountains / and there's no end in sight" from "Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)" by Arcade Fire off of their album "The Suburbs." I can't stop listening to the whole thing. Definitely worth a listen. 10 times over.

Who is your favorite professor? If you could dedicate an album title to him/her, what would the title be?

That's a tough one. I think tons of professors are really cool. For now I would say Belinda Kong (I hope she reads this but I hope the other professors that I have don't read this and feel offended!) and that I would dedicate the soundtrack of the movie "Hero" to her because it's a movie we talked about.
