Campus bustled with faculty members, alumni and current students who came from near and far last weekend to celebrate the inauguration of Bowdoin’s sixteenth president, Safa Zaki. Zaki was chosen to replace Clayton Rose after an extensive presidential search process.
On Thursday afternoon, Bowdoin students and community members gathered in Hawthorne-Longfellow Library’s Special Collections & Archives (SC&A) Learning Lab for a discussion on the collaborative book created by book artist Rebecca Goodale and Professor of Art Carrie Scanga, “Back Then and Now.” The discussion was facilitated by Mainer, poet and art critic Carl Little.
