E-Board announces MGNA Crrrta and Peach Pit for Spring Concert

February 27, 2026

In an email to the student body on Monday, Bowdoin Entertainment Board (E-Board) member Emmanuel Nwodo ’27 announced that MGNA Crrrta and Peach Pit will be headlining this year’s Spring Concert, which is scheduled for April 3.

Ginger Scott and Farheen Khan, who form the New York-based electropop duo MGNA Crrrta, first met on a Hunger Games Minecraft roleplay server when they were 11. Since then, Scott and Khan have staked out a musical style that Pitchfork has described as “giddy, girly EDM and brainrot electroclash.” They released their most recent album, “Beautiful Disaster,” earlier this month.

Peach Pit, a Canadian indie pop band formed in Vancouver in 2016, consists of singer and rhythm guitarist Neil Smith, lead guitarist Christopher Vanderkooy, bassist Peter Wilton and drummer Mikey Pascuzzi. Smith and Vanderkooy, who were high school friends, began collaborating in 2014 and were soon joined by Wilton and Pascuzzi. The band, whose most recent release is their 2024 album “Magpie,” has performed with artists such as Mac DeMarco and Dayglow.
