September 25, 2020

COVID-19 Resource Coordinator Mike Ranen announced that a member of the Bowdoin staff has tested positive for COVID-19 in an email sent to the College community on Thursday night,. The staff member is the first employee to test positive since the beginning of the fall semester.

The individual was on campus briefly on Wednesday and earlier in the week, but they did not come into close contact with any students or other employees, as determined by the College’s process of contact tracing.

The staff member is asymptomatic and is currently isolating at home.
