This weekend, the fifth annual production of “RISE: The Untold Stories of Bowdoin Women” will be available for students to watch remotely. The production, put on by the student-led club fEMPOWER, includes over 30 student performers and will be streamed at 7 p.m.
This semester, fEMPOWER, a student-run organization, is tackling the task of virtually producing the annual show “RISE: Untold Stories of Bowdoin Women,” which showcases the stories of Bowdoin women, while also trying to connect with the Bowdoin community through initiatives such as their new Instagram page.
Last Friday, a friend and I went to see the annual showing of “RISE: Untold Stories of Bowdoin Women.” Throughout the show, we heard stories from various women, with topics ranging from friendship and romantic relationships to trauma and abuse.
