The Entertainment Board (E-Board)will present its annual winter concert in Pickard Theater next Saturday, January 29. Louis Weeks '11 will open for currently touring bands The Low Anthem and Jukebox the Ghost.
On the E-Board Facebook event page, board member Ruiqi Li '13 described The Low Anthem as having a "folk-type" sound. The band will be touring throughout the country and Europe this spring. Li also describes Jukebox the Ghost as "unabashedly upbeat, playful...with a sly dark streak" and its shows as "energetic, crowd-pleasing, cathartic."
"I've heard from a lot of people that every time they put on a show it's filled with energy," said Li.
Last year's winter concert was replaced with a performance by dance crew Fanny Pak. Two years ago, the E-Board brought in singer-songwriter Andrew Bird.
