Assistant Professor of Romance Languages Meryem Belkaïd (left) facilitated a question and answer session with award-winning filmmaker Raoul Peck (right) on Tuesday, entitled “Identity, History, and Race.” Peck’s Academy Award nominated documentary film, “I Am Not Your Negro,” was screened in Kresge Auditorium on Monday. The film is based on James Baldwin’s unfinished manuscript “Remember This House.”
