The stone inuksuk sits outside of the Gibbons Center for Arctic Studies. Inuksuit are an important symbol for the Inuit people, and an inuksuk is shown on the flag of the Canadian territory of Nunavut, which has a majority-Inuit population, and now can be found on the mound between Mills and Gibbons.
