Professor Yarbrough is the Gary M. Pendy Sr. Professor of Social Sciences of Bowdoin's Government Department. Her work has been widely published in several political publications. She is a nationally recognized thinker and author; she has received various fellowships, including two awards from the national endowment for the Humanities. SHe is currently working on her second book titled The Progressive Critique of the Founders.
