NExpress, one of the interschool library-loaning systems Bowdoin uses, will be retired in May. April 30 is the last day that schools can request books from NExpress and all items will be due by the end of May.
On Wednesday evening, Bowdoin Student Government (BSG) voted on two proposals and discussed three others.
At-Large Representative Jacob Russell ’17 introduced two proposals. Proposal 141544 suggested amendments to BSG bylaws. The proposal gave greater flexibility to the structure of general assembly meetings, which had often ignored BSG bylaws.
The ending of the Offer of the College—“And to cooperate with others for common ends”—serves as the inspiration for Bowdoin’s first-ever TEDx event entitled “Common Ends,” which will take place Sunday at 11 a.m. in Kresge Auditorium.
